This photo shows throwing fishing nets on
this class of fishing boat into the water
of the depth of around 20-30 meters. In this
fishing season, they are using a gillnet
of around 2000kn a limit. The operation is
made mostly by one fisherman. The net they
use is made of Multimono #6, around 110mm
Mesh size. |

This season,June, becomes the End of fishing
season, and the quantity the fishermen use
becomes decreased in comparison with the
golden age. Then, the target of fishing becomes
mostly Cod only. Flatfish and Kasago fishes
are also caught, but market price of these
fishes is extremely cheap, so they are released.
Size of Cod is in large and small of all
various sizes. In recent years, its size
is somewhat looked like smaller. If it is
too small, it is released. |

Using 3-step Roller method, operated by one
man, and speed of the roller is fairly slow
and safety seems to be high. Putting a fish
on a hook and take out from the net, and
put the fish into the box being prepared
on the left, and the nets are in backward
of the box for preparation of throwing fishing
nets again. |
